Mike Jorden has been involved with youth soccer in Virginia since the early 1990s. After moving here from outside Dayton, Ohio where he played club soccer, Mike has trained many teams and players in both Loudoun and Fairfax County. He joined the Virginia Youth Soccer Association Olympic Development Program coaching staff in 1998 and served as a staff coach, District Head Coach and State evaluator for 10 years. In 2003, Mike joined the staff at DC United Youth and took the 89/90 girls to England where they won the Manchester United Cup. This included wins over Sheffield United, the Welsh National team, and Man United. Mike also served as a staff coach with the Washington Freedom Y League teams. Over the last 11 years while coaching at the club level, Mike has won 9 Virginia State Cup championships and 2 Region One championships. Currently Mike is working with U17 Chantilly Burn girls, U15 FC Virginia 95 girls, and U13 Chantilly Striker boys.
